Our small, friendly, family run business has been selling Chicory Drink (previously under the Prewett's name) for over 20 years. 

In 2017 The Chicory Company evolved from Prewett's to give this much loved unique beverage its own well deserved identity.

Today's increased awareness of the negative effects of caffeine on our bodies has brought about a demand for more functional beverages that are beneficial to health and add value nutritionally. Superfood lattes seem to be featuring on hot drinks menus more and more.

Chicory Drink is a multifaceted diamond in this respect in that it offers a satisfactory tasty coffee alternative for those looking to reduce or cut out their caffeine intake but it is also an effective dairy free prebiotic due to its natural high inulin fibre content so a plus for those wishing to improve their gut health.

Our Chicory is produced by our partners in Northern France who we have worked with from the outset so by swapping your daily cup of Joe for Chicory Root Drink you are also saving 1000's of food miles.
