WHAT IS CHICORY?

Chicory Drink is made from the root section of the chicory vegetable & is used as a coffee substitute once it has been roasted & ground.

CHICORY IS CAFFEINE FREE
Ground Chicory Root has a very similar taste & aroma to coffee but is completely caffeine free. This means it won't exacerbate anxiety or lead to any of the unpleasant side effects experienced by some such as jitters, insomnia or energy crashes.

CHICORY IS HIGH IN FIBRE
Chicory root is naturally high in a dietary fibre called inulin. A high fibre diet aids digestion & helps balance blood sugar levels.

CHICORY IS GUT FRIENDLY
The inulin that occurs naturally in chicory root is a prebiotic. Prebiotics help the generation of healthy bacteria in your gut whilst at the same time prevent the growth of unhealthy bacteria.
